John Warren, C.A.

John is a partner with the firm, Adams & Miles LLP, Chartered Accountants; has many years experience with condominiums and heads the firm’s condominium group.  The firm provides audit, accounting and related services to over 200 condominiums of all types and sizes and focuses on governance and management issues in not-for-profit organizations as well as providing traditional accounting, audit and tax services.  John and his firm belong to the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) and the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO).

John is the immediate Past President of the CCI–Toronto and Area Chapter and is a past member of the Associates Executive Committee of ACMO.  John is a frequent speaker at conferences, seminars, luncheons and courses with CCI, ACMO and other property organizations and has published many articles in condominium magazines on accounting, financial and related matters. He hopes he has assisted, if ever so slightly, in advancing the professionalism of condominium Directors and managers and in enhancing life in condominiums for their owners and residents.

Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, he is married to Beatrice and they have four great, and mostly launched, children.  He’s a fair-weather sailor, plays bad golf well, billiards only slightly better and, off the golf course, is happiest puttering about in boats with Beatrice and his family.
