Gina Cody, P. Eng., M.Eng., PhD., ACCI, FCCI
Dr. Gina P. Cody is a principal at Construction Control Inc., a firm of consulting engineers and building scientists.
Gina obtained her doctorate in Building Engineering at Concordia University, Montreal. She joined the Building Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Housing in 1986 to work on the development of amendments to the Ontario Building code. Shortly afterwards she became a partner in Construction Control Inc.
Firmly committed to improving construction quality and disseminating information relevant to Building Science concerns, Gina is active on a number of CSA and other Technical Committees besides being Chair of the Professional Practice Committee of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and Chairperson and a member of PEO Task Forces preparing guidelines for Professional Engineers.
Gina is also Chair of the CSA Standard on Town Cranes, past President of Ontario Building Envelope Council and member of the council of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.
Gina is a Past President of the Canadian Condominium Institute, Toronto and Area Chapter and is the current Chair of the Education Committee - Toronto and Area Chapter. She also serves as a Director on the CCI National Board. Gina is a frequent lecturer at seminars, courses and conferences.
